Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In tracing tasks, gaze information is important to the human arm movement like a handwriting movement. Some studies showed that the gaze precedes the pen-tip. In this study, the gaze precedence, saccadic position and timing when the subject were required to trace straight or curved paths were examined in more detail. As a result, as the number of the point with high curvature increased, the number of fixation increased, and saccade length decreased. And the interval time between a saccade and next saccade did not change. Finally, when the subjects traced the more complex curved paths, saccade often occurred after the pen-tip passed the point with high curvature. This result suggests that humans may carefully observe the point that is difficult to trace like the point with high curvature. |
