The Fractal dimension of the environmental sound wave measured around airport.

Abstract(in English) We evaluate the environmental sound by its pressure level and frequency analysis. In fact, we don’t have good feeling when sound pressure level is lower than the regulation by government. We study the way of environmental sound evaluation by using characteristic of the complexity of the wave. That is evaluated by Fractal dimension and that’s real number which is larger than 1 and less than 2. We explain that the complexity is changed by the region of measurement. This paper shows that the result of the complexities of two region that is around two kind of airport. One is large and another is small. We consider that they are relative to the size of airport and discuss the effective of the way of environmental sound evaluation by using complexity of the wave.
