Autonomic Development Process of Heat Stress Disorder

Abstract(in English) We analyzed the heart rate variability for autonomic nervous activity during the course of developing heat stress disorder. The player showed an increase in the power of high-frequency (0.15-0.45 Hz) component of HRV and a progressive decrease in heart rate during playing. We estimate that the bradycardia was mediated by cardiac vagal activation through Bezold-Jarisch reflex.
