Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Blood products for transfusion is tested for viruses by nucleic acid amplification test (NAT).However, infections exposed to the blood products including virus have been reported. From this background, we developed the metal-coated hollow fiber membrane (MCH). This membrane has high conductivity and high rate of viral concentration. We found that viral detection using this membrane and the reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP). This viral detection was confirmed that rapid and equal sensitivity than NAT against HSV-1 or FCV virus. In this report, this viral detection method examined whether could simultaneous detect of virus from human plasma specimen including both HSV-1 and FCV.
