Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Biofilm can be defined as inhomogenous film-like matters formed on materials surfaces by bacterial activities. Even though the tiny bacteria whose sizes would be approximately 1 micrometer formed the biofilm, it would lead to various industrial problems. In this manuscript, we clarify the problem firstly and then, we overview the evaluation methods to solve the problems and also show an example for the problem solving.
