| Abstract(in English) | Wasteful cache computation of unpopular content is one of causes of decreasing forwarding speed of an NDN software router due to time-consuming per-packet caching. To resolve this cause, we propose to use cache admission, which inserts only popular content into a cache so that wasteful cache insertions are bypassed. Through experimental and analytical evaluations, we prove that using cache admission improves forwarding rate of an NDN software router built on a commercial off-the-shelf computer without decreasing cache hit probability. |
