Abstract(in English) | Faster-than-Nyquist signaling (FTN) is a technique to improve a data rate of bandlimited communication systems with intentional intersymbol interference (ISI) by setting the symbol length less than the Nyquist interval. Another major issue of FTN in addition to the mitigation of ISI is its signal peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) that is generally higher than the conventional Nyquist rate single-carrier signals. In this work, we theoretically analyze the high-order moment of linearly modulated single-carrier signals with FTN signaling as a measure alternative to PAPR. |
