Abstract(in English) | Recently, there are some researches about communication and ranging simultaneously. Also there is the research about visible light communication by using image sensor as a receiver. In this research, we propose simultaneous communication and ranging using laser with image sensor as a receiver. Communication performance and ranging performance is the trade-off relationship. To solve the problem, the main part of this article is that we focus on the brake lamp from the image acquired by image sensor, and evaluate the way of changing the frequency of ranging whether brake lamp turns on or off for improving the performance of communication and ranging. In the result, the proposal method can make the maximum error of ranging small and also keep the average throughput in the case of no missing of brake lamp. |
