Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Japanese railway took a successful safety record in comparison with other countries. However, it's availability is not necessarily favorable recently. This owes to taking much time for repairing in the case of system failure on railway. Accordingly, it is important to take measures for upgrading availability on railway and for this reason, it is necessary to foreknow the failure beforehand. This paper describes the example of reliability analysis considering failure detection and foreknowledge on railway.
