Abstract(in English) In image-sensor-based visible light communication, calculation method of the transmitted symbol rate from the received symbol pattern is proposed when the transmitted symbol rate is unknown. Calculation method of the transmitted symbol length utilizing periodicity of the received symbol pattern is clarified. We experimentally verified that number of symbols required for calculation of the transmitted symbol length can be reduced to 100 symbols using 30-frame-per-second image sensor.
