Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To achieve meaningful discussion, a speaker needs to understand own utterance intention properly and shares his/her intention with listeners. In order to cultivate the intention sharing skills, this research focuses on “activities of research meeting”. To enhance the readiness for discussion in such setting, it is important that the learners marshal their research contents/progress, and sort out what needs to mention in a logical manner in advance using internal self-conversations. In this paper, we organize and provide “inquiries” which prompt the learners’ internal self-conversations. We discuss the concept model for enhancing the intention sharing skills in the context of research meeting activities, and report the experimental result to validate the effect of inquiries. In addition, we also discuss how to organize inquiries to support the learners’ internal self-conversations.
