| Abstract(in English) | This paper proposes the semi-automated attendance checking system using GPS, E-mailing, and click operation. This system uses mobile instruments as the clients, mailer software as the host, and E-mailing protocol for communication between the clients and the host. Because the client of the proposed system is composed of the simple HTTPS server by python and Google Chrome browser to acquire the location information from GPS, it is easy to implement on the mobile instruments with various operation systems. Further, the students send their location information to show their attendance to teacher in response to the sign of the teachers. It enhances the motivation to attend the classroom like the conventional checking of attendance. Because the proposed system does not always monitor the location of the targets continuously, it is better from the view point of keeping their privacies. |
