A Miniaturized Microstrip Line Rat-race Balun Filter With Combline Type Coupled Lines

Abstract(in English) The balun filter for RF front-end circuit is configured by combining bandpass filters(BPFs) using combline coupled lines and a rat-race circuit. The method to fold a microstrip line is suggested for miniaturization of BPFs and a rat-race circuit. The frequency characteristics of the proposed filter are calculated and evaluated using an electromagnetic simulator.
