Abstract(in English) | This paper proposes the simplified design method of a triple-mode resonator consisting of lumped elements. The resonant conditions of the triple-mode resonator are derived, and their resonant frequencies were given each of the resonant frequencies of a prototype circuit using single-mode resonators. The transmission characteristics of the bandpass filter (BPF) are calculated by circuit simulator after studying method for determining the element values of the inverters among input/output ports and the resonator. Also, a method for controlling an attenuation pole and suppression in a stopband is shown. Based on the suggested design method, a tunable BPF consisting of lumped elements and varactor diodes is constructed. The tunability of center frequency and bandwidth was assessed by an electromagnetic field simulation. As a result, the authors have showed the feasibility of the compact tunable BPF with wide stopband. |
