Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Microwave systems are composed of several components. Each component consists of ports (connectors or transmission lines) and structures which realize desired functions. The S-parameter is useful to express functions of microwave circuits. In fundamental design of microwave systems, microwave components are designed at first, and they are connected each other to realize the total function of the system. Connection of the S-parameters determines the total characteristic of the system. The software ‘GSM Solver’ which analyzes the total characteristic of the system which is expressed by the arbitrary connection of the S-parameters is presented.
