| Abstract(in English) | Extension of healthy life expectancy is a significant issue in Japan. In this paper, we propose a walking assistant robot for the elderly, which keeps them safe in their walk in home, and thus preserves the amount of their activity. We describe the design of this robot and its usefulness experimentally evaluated with twelve senior participants. |
