| Abstract(in English) | This paper proposes a time-varying parameter setting method for particle swarm optimization of multiple swarms under search-time constraints. The time-varying parameter setting makes it possible for particles to diverge independently during a beginning of the search, to cooperate with other particles in the same swarm during the middle stage and to focus in high potential space near to the global optimal found so far at the final stage. Therefore, the proposed method provides divergence and convergence in PSOs for effective searching under search-time constraints. The experimental evaluation shows the efficiency of our time-varying parameter approach. |
