Abstract(in English) | Adhesive plaster type human activity monitoring systems will be discussed. From viewpoint of continuous watching over and taking care of a people, adhesive plaster type monitoring devices are more effective than accessory type devices, such as watches, bracelets, glasses and rings, or clothes type devices. For good wearing feel of the plaster device, it should be thin, small and light weight. The MEMS technology is the most suitable technology for these requirements. In this report, some MEMS devices for human monitoring system are shown and examples of the plaster type human activity monitoring systems are discussed. The system monitors the electro cardiograph, exercise, posture, body surface temperature, atmospheric pressure, temperature and humidity, and transfers the acquired data by 2.4 GHz radio. The data will be real-timely displayed, analyzed and stored through the Internet. The collection of human activity data is just started, and how to treat and effectively use the various and massive human data is an important research theme that should be explored in the future. |
