Countermeasure of Spoofed Emails by Checking the Reliability of DKIM Signature

Abstract(in English) Although e-mail communication has been widely used for many years, the spoofed e-mails becoming a serious concern nowadays. DKIM is a famous mechanism to authenticate whether an email is reliable, however, it has an issue that it is difficult to determine whether the DKIM signature is legitimate or not. To overcome the issue, we proposed a method to check the validity of the DKIM signature by examining the combination of the sender's domain and the DKIM domain through the database within a DNS server. Our system can improve the validity of DKIM and the reliability of spoofed e-mails detection.
