Numerical analysis of terahertz plane wave scattering from an infinite grating of graphene strips

Abstract(in English) We demonstrate an accurate and powerful numerical solution to the terahertz wave scattering from an infinite periodic grating made of graphene strips. The problem is formulated into integral equations for unknown electric current density on the strip, with modeled by impedance type boundary conditions. The surface admittance of graphene is given by Kubo's formula. In the procedure of the moment method, Legendre and Chebyshev polynomials are successively employed as the basis and testing functions. The convergence is expected to be as fast as that of often used Nystrom type algorithm.
