Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Intermittent receiver-driven data transmission (IRDT) has been proposed as a protocol to realize a reliable and efficient intermittent transmission without time-synchronization among nodes. In IRDT, it is known that the adaptive control of the intermittent interval can remarkably enhance the reliability of the transmission. If every nodes operate only with energy harvesting (EH) power supplies, some nodes may not be able to activate their own circuits with the optimum intermittent interval due to the insufficient availability of energy, which obviously result in the performance degradation of IRDT. In this paper, we propose distributed intermittent-interval control based on energy arrival information and show that it can achieve higher communication reliability and energy efficiency than conventional approaches. |
