Abstract(in English) | Leaf temperatures of plans are focused to estimate the growing condition of the plans. Traditional method for measuring temperatures employs an infrared camera. However, it is difficult to introduce a large number of infrared cameras in fields because infrared cameras are very expensive. As a result, thermo-array sensors have been expected to measure leaf temperatures instead of infrared cameras. Thermo-array sensors are able to measure a temperature of a distant object. Additionally, the price of typical themo-array sensors is not expensive compared to the infrared camera. This paper has developed a prototype of a sensor network system for collecting the leaf temperature data measured by thermo-array sensors. The developed prototype consists of sensor nodes, a gateway node and a server. Sensor nodes measure a leaf temperature with a thermo-array sensor. The gateway node collects data that sensor nodes measured, and transfers the data to the server. The server manages and stores the measured data. The developed prototype uses Arduino compatible boards that are designed for sensor network systems. Therefore, the sensor nodes equipped with sensors for an air temperature, a water temperature, a humidity, an atmospheric pressure in addition to thermo-array sensor. |
