Abstract(in English) | WSNs (wireless sensor networks) enables us to achieve efficient agricultural supports by monitoring growth conditions of crops. Among biological information of crops, the leaf temperature is important to estimate transpiration and photosynthesis activities. It is effective for collecting leaf temperature all over a farm to combine use of drones and sensor nodes placed in a farm field. Drones sense the leaf temperature all over a farm from sky. Sensor nodes periodically sense the leaf temperature on the ground in a farm field and play the role of grand truth against drones. A protocol to coordinate drones and sensor nodes is required for WSNs using drones. In this study, we propose a communication protocol of WSNs using drones and sensor nodes for agriculture. |
