Coupling Characteristic of Optical Waveguides Composed by Multiple Circular Cores

Abstract(in English) This paper gives coupling characteristics combined waveguides of which three circular cores is located to a triangle. Three circular cores are contacted and those radii are same. When a distance between the centers of two waveguides is kept at constant, coupling characteristics is examined by rotating each waveguides. In a practical rotation procedure, one waveguide is fixed and other waveguide is rotated. Multipole method which is suitable for an analysis of multiple circular cores is taken as a method of the numerical computation.
