Abstract(in English) In this paper, transmission characteristics of silica core optical fibers with quadruple clad are investigated. Silica core optical fiber has essentially low nonlinearity, and the structure of quadruple clad adapts to realization of low dispersion slope. Silica core fibers with this profile are designed so as to keep the constant chromatic dispersion in wide wavelength region, and effective area (Aeff), mode field diameter (MFD), and bending loss are numerically analyzed.
