Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) High frequency asymptotic ray method has been applied to formulate E-polarized plane wave diffraction by a thick loaded slit. Slit region is considered as a parallel plate waveguide, and excitations of waveguide modes are given by edge diffraction at the open end by applying ray-mode conversion technique. This formulation can be applied to analyze the diffraction by a window glass on the building wall. Comparison with the results by Kobayashi Potential method reveals the validity of our formulation.
