| Abstract(in English) | The development of Deep Learning methods enabled us to solve several unattacked problems. However, every machine learning methods, whatever it is, has its limitation, problems of overfitting and overgeneralization, which can be reduced but cannot be solved completely. Humans are, of course, known to err in recognition, such as illusion. However, human error tend to be small compared to that of machines. One of the keys to attack this problem is introduction of top-down expectation. Endo-system view point, typically observed in Japanese expressions, gives us a hint to solve the problem. Endo-system view of research requires a different methodology from exo-system view typically seen in natural sciences. We formalized it as an FNS loop. To-down cognition can also be formalized as an FNS-loop. |
