Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the demand for an inter-cloud architecture based on the concept of interconnecting clouds increases, while the trustable and reliable system architecture which has fault-tolerance for unanticipated occurrences including disasters is required. However, the collaboration to share resources among cloud service providers can't be accomplished always due to the difference of operational policies. One example of the collaboration is an exchange of resource monitoring information among cloud service providers. The standardization trends for an inter-cloud architecture is reviewing the resource management on the assumption that all of resource monitoring information can be obtained, but the information may not be always acquired in real environment. For such a problem, we have shown that it is useful to consider how much resource monitoring information is provided in order to maintain a quality of service. In this research, we describe the framework for an inter-cloud management which can maintain a quality of service in whole clouds by the resource allocation mechanism based on amount of resource monitoring information. In addition, we show the implementation method of the prototypic system for video streaming services in a inter-cloud and clarify the usefulness of the proposed framework by an evaluation experiment.
