Landslide displacement investigation and mechanism with various satellite radar data

抄録(和) Landslide hazard is an important issue in Taiwan, where an island locates between plates. This study collects landslide monitoring data, including traditional survey, aerial images and satellite radar of study area, where locates in central Taiwan. Satellite radar data analysis is adopting ALOS/PALSAR, Sentinel ? 1 and ALOS-2 for displacement modeling. For the years with ALOS/PALSAR, which is from 2006 to 2010 in study area, the displacement maps help to define scar of landslide and landslide velocity with DInSAR and SBAS. However, ALOS was down since 2011 but Sentinel-1 and ALOS-2 come to work after that. The displacement of one monitoring landslide site started accelerating from 2015 to 2016. Thus Sentinenl-1 and ALOS-2 are used in this study to discover the mechanism and region of landslide. The result shows that the landslide is quite unique in this area after considering rainfall and earthquake events. SBAS of ALOS data reveals it is suitable for displacement modeling. However, the ALOS is out of service and new coming Sentinel-1 and ALOS-2 shows its advantage in single event. Continuous monitoring should be carried out to prevent further hazards.
