Abstract(in English) | This paper proposes a novel iterative differential detection and decoding (IDDD) by exchanging log likelihood ratio (LLR). The authors have proposed iterative detection and decoding (IDD) for coherent detection. LLRs computed by maximum a-posteriori probability (MAP) demapper of Gaussian frequency shift keying (GFSK) with infinite impulse response (IIR) filter structure are exchanged with LLRs derived from sum-product algorithm decoding of cyclic redundancy check (CRC). However, regarding BLE implementations, differential detection is preferable. Therefore, we designed a LLR computation method with the aid on radio frequency (RF) signals, not baseband (BB) signals such as coherent detection. Simulation results confirm that the validity of the proposed LLR computation. |
