Abstract(in English) | Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is an active remote sensing instrument to measure the landscape. Differential interferometric synthetic aperture radar (DInSAR) is an effective technique to observe the surface motion caused by earthquakes. In our previous work an adaptive local kriging (ALK) was proposed to recover surface deformation associated with the fault zones in the decoherence area. ALK is a time-consuming task. Therefore, a graphics processing unit (GPU) based ALK is proposed to speed up the process. The NVIDIA compute unified device architecture (CUDA) is used to implement the parallel version of ALK. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed GPU based ALK provides a speedup of 56.22x. The results of the correlation coefficients comparisons indicate the retrieving motion maps provide high fidelity compared to the original CPU based ALK method. |
