An initial evaluation of scheduling method for MUST with different waveforms

Abstract(in English) The 5th generation mobile communication systems need to accommodate various user’s traffic effectively with limited frequency resources. Since subcarrier bandwidth and frame format are fixed when a OFDM is used, the insufficient use of time and/or frequency resources may be occurred. To resolve this problem, we are studying hybrid multi-carrier (Hyb.MC) transmission which accommodates both a OFDM and new waveform for 5G in the same system bandwidth, and application of MUST (Multi-User Superposition Transmission). In such environment, a scheduling method is important to accommodate various traffic efficiently by many user terminals. In this paper, we present our study of scheduling method for MUST with different waveforms and the initial evaluation by computer simulations.
