Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The propagation channel information is necessary for planning and implementing the wireless networks. Conducting the measurement by channel sounder in a target environment is considered as an approach which can accurately determine the propagation channel. However, it is difficult to utilize the conventional channel sounders in an outdoor measurement because of a high cost and a heavy workload. Therefore, the portable channel sounder which is suitable for the outdoor measurement is developed by adopting the free gnu radio software and the open-source software defined radio device called bladeRF. The multitone-overlapping frequency stepping approach is proposed and implemented on bladeRF device to obtain the wideband characteristics of propagation channel. The experiment in laboratory environment for validating the proposed channel sounder is presented and the figures of the field test conducted in sugarcane field and jackfruit orchard in Thailand are shown. In the exhibition, the operation of this channel sounder will be demonstrated and a part of the measurement result conducted in Thailand will also be presented. |
