Abstract(in English) Latest updates of progress achieved in the Fifth Generation Mobile Communications Promotion Forum to realize ‘5G’ are reported refereeing to its white paper on ‘5G’ and related studies. In order to serve variety of use cases in a flexible and efficient manner in the context of End-to-end communication quality, genuine ‘heterogeneous network’ combining new and evolved radio access technologies for ‘5G’ will be the key.
