Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to solve multiscale electromagnetic wave problems, which include objects with significantly different scales compared to wavelengths of interest, for specific cases requiring high accuracy, surface roughness has to be taken into account. In this paper, we compere the two surface impedance boundary conditions for surface roughness of a pipe wall, and and confirm a kind of equivalence between both SIBCs using the concept of effective medium approximation. Moreover, we combine it with a finite-difference time-domain scheme for multiscale analysis of electromagnetic waves, and then apply it to the analysis of a circular waveguide.
