Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Epidemic wireless communication delivers information to destination by spreading information by direct wireless communication between mobile terminals and movement of mobile terminals. To prevent disorderly diffusion of information for a specific local area in epidemic wireless communication, information floating (IF), which restricts mobile terminals to transmit the information only in the transmittable area, has been considered. In this report, we consider IF for delivery of accident warnings from a fixed source (the accident site) and assume that mobile terminals change direction after receiving the information to avoid the accident site. We analyze how IF behaves differently for a different value of the probability that a terminal receiving information changes direction. Especially, we show that if the IF temporarily ends in an extreme case where a terminal receiving information always changes direction, then sometimes a very long time is required until the IF restarts. Here, we analyze the mean time until IF temporarily ends and that until the IF restarts, and discuss ways for solving the above problem.
