Abstract(in English) | Signal propagation characteristics in the high-speed power line communication (PLC) haves been studied by using the 2- wire power line. However the 3-wire power line including the grounding wire is also used in house. Therefore, the influence of the grounding wire should be studied. In this report, the simple power distribution system constructed with three branches, was used for the investigation, and the influence of the grounding wire position was studied based on the theory and the experiment. In this power distribution system, the electronic appliances were modeled by LCR circuit considering with the height and the PLC modems were modeled by a balun in the analysis, the 3-wire power line, the electronic appliances, and the modems were presented by the network, and the transmission characteristics were calculated by using the network theory. Next, the power distribution system, where the cable height and the branch length were fixed, was constructed on the metallic ground plane, and the transmission characteristics were measured. The measurement value was compared to the calculation value to evaluate the validity of the calculation method. The results showed that the analysis method was appropriate because the calculation value agreed with the measurement value. Finally, the influence of the grounding wire position was evaluated in various conditions by using this power distribution system. The result showed that, the grounding wireline position does not influence to the transmission characteristics significantly. |
