Abstract(in English) Previous physiological experiments suggested that the transient Off- retinal ganglion cell in the mouse retina exhibits a wide receptive field, and shows a strong response to a movie stimuli mimicking an approach of an object. A simple simulation model for explaining the experimental results was proposed in the previous study. But quantitative properties of the responses of this cell type to the object approach as well as other motion stimuli has not been examined in detail. Therefore, in this study, we construct a retinal circuit model that implements the anatomical structure of convergent and divergent synaptic signaling to the transient Off- retinal ganglion cells.
