Error Correction Method for Interblock Burst Error of PPM Compression

Abstract(in English) PPM compression is one of the best compression method in compression ratio. Data compression method is essential in computer systems and communication systems. It has a problem that it is more vulnerable than uncompressed data. Therefore, error recovery methods in PPM compression have been proposed. But there are remaining problems in reliability. In this study, we solved the problem that conventional method can’t correct interblock burst error, by applying divided parity block, and increased recovery rate.
