Radiation Field from Arbitrary Curved Surface Array

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we discuss the radiation characteristics from conformal array with arbitrary curved surface shape by means of analytical approach. The radiation pattern is expressed by array factor and beam scanning algorithm with direction cosine. Furthermore we considered polarization mismatch of the each element and curvature of arbitrary curved surface. And wecalculated scanning radiation patterns from conformal array on the aircraft wing or body with curved rectangular patch elements. In the case of the former, comparing setting point sources of wave on array surface and setting curved rectangular patch elements on array surface, the radiation gain of array setting patch elements decreased about 10dB than the radiation gain of array setting point sources of wave. And, in the case of the latter, greating-lobe occurred. Its max gain is 10dB lesser than max gain of main lobe.
