Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Wireless power transfer for rotating equipment has gathered attention to improve reliability and safety. In some applications, the secondary-side system has to be designed simply to drive a motor for low cost and superior durability. In this paper, a velocity estimation method of a DC motor driven by wireless power transfer is proposed as a fundamental study on velocity control from the primary side to reduce the complexity of the secondary side system. The experiment verified the effectiveness of the proposed method and its applicability to velocity control.
