| Abstract(in English) | We have been conducting research on sign language CG animation for improving information accessibility towards deaf people. As part of this effort, we have developed a system that reads weather forecast data coded in XML format distributed by the Japan Meteorological Agency and automatically generates CG animation clips to present them in sign language. It automatically updates the sign language animation based on the latest weather forecast via the Internet. We have improved this system to be able to automatically generate a sign language CG animation of the weather warnings in addition to the weather forecast. |
