Indirect detection of thermal spin signal in lateral spin valve

Abstract(in English) Recently, generation of spin current due to heat current has attracted considerable attention. Especially, thermal spin injection from ferromagnet metal to nonmagnet metal due to temperature gradient is one of the promising technique. We have detected thermal spin signal from middle ferromagnet wire in lateral spin valve device. Furthermore we have succeeded in detecting the magnetization direction of small ferromagnet dot in lateral spin valve using thermal spin injection. These results will contribute to realization of spin devise driven by heat current.
