Time-Resolved Imaging of Photoinduced Backward Volume Magnetostatic Wave and Exchange Resonance Mode

Abstract(in English) We performed pump-probe magneto-optical spatio-temporal imaging on a rare-earth Bi-doped iron garnet single crystal by using the rotating analizer method and a CMOS camera. We observed a ferrimagnetic resonance mode and an exchange resonance mode due to the inverse Faraday effect with circularly polarized light as pump light. In addition, the ferrimagnetic resonance mode was observed outside the pump spot in the form of backward volume magnetostatic wave.
