Study on Secret Information Sharing with Propagation Coefficient and Public Transmission of Antenna Weight

Abstract(in English) In recent years, as a countermeasure against eavesdropping in wireless communication, physical layer security draw attention. Furthermore, in order to realize physical layer security, it has been proposed the system that uses radio wave propagation characteristics. In this paper, we propose secret information sharing system using the propagation coefficient of wireless communication that is secrecy information. Firstly, by using a multiple-antenna transmission and reception system, the proposed method obtains a plurality of the propagation coefficient in both directions. Next, based on the prior measurement of the propagation coefficient, the system calculates the antenna weight information so as to achieve the desired QAM symbols. Finally, transmitting station send calculated antenna weight information on the public transmission channel, and the receiving station reproduce the QAM symbols from the propagation coefficient and antenna weights. By computer simulation, using bit error rate and conditional mutual information, we show the results of evaluation and study of the proposed scheme.
