Abstract(in English) | In this report, a lemma, and two theorems for an iterated function system (IFS), generating a bivariate fractal interpolation surface (BFIS) with an individual vertical scaling factor, are introduced. the BFIS with an individual vertical scaling factor is expected to be useful for image processing. The development of a prototyping system for the IFS using LabVIEW FPGA is described. This system is envisioned as an essential tool for testing and evaluation of applications based on theory of IFS such as image warping or image recognition. LabVIEW FPGA environment is well suited for creating systems very quickly. The realized IFS is used to illustrate an example of a higher resolution reconstruction from a low resolution image. The laboratory results are compared using MATLAB simulations. |
