Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Abstract We have recently found out through the experiment that the coupling loss between a transmitter coil and a receiver coil in seawater is the same as in the atmosphere, if these two coils are in a non-resonant state, or even in a non-resonant state close to the resonance state, and as the results of subsequent theoretical consideration, we have confirmed that it is possible to realize the magnetic wave communication at a middle field of more than 1000m in seawater, and also possible to realize the high power WPT at a near field of more than 20 cm in seawater, and by taking advantage of these achievements, we will propose a remote control system for the submersible robot.
