Abstract(in English) We have proposed and been doing research on three-dimensional magnetic recording that uses a medium with multiple recording layers to increase recording density. The implementation of three-dimensional magnetic recording requires methods to write and read data selectively in a target recording layer. In this presentation, we focus on a write method and demonstrate layer-selective magnetization switching of a double-layer perpendicular magnetic dot by means of microwave-assisted magnetization switching. Microwave-assisted magnetization switching utilizes FMR excitation in microwave magnetic fields to induce magnetization switching. Therefore, when each magnetic layer is designed to have a different FMR frequency, FMR excitation and subsequent magnetization switching can be induced selectively in a target layer by adjusting the frequency of the applied microwave field.
