Abstract(in English) A hetero-core optical fiber displacement sensor has a fusion splice structure of a different core, and detects a change of a leak light by a bending. Therefore, a high accuracy optical wavelength measurement system for an optical wavelength or an optical phase is not necessary, the hetero-core optical fiber displacement sensor can realize a low cost system, relative to a conventional optical fiber bragg grating type sensor. This time, we carried out three verification tests of bridge monitoring by using the hetero-core optical displacement sensor for an aging bridge which is one of big social issues. Then, we analyzed "a temperature dependency of a bridge", "a frequency of a heavy vehicle traffic", "an eigen frequency of a bridge" which are important parameters for a management of a bridge, show effectiveness.
