Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a novel method to detect low SNR signals such as radar pulse. We assume that the signal components lies over multiple cells, and estimate the cells that contain signals components. Our approach employs second order statistical analysis and likelihood function so that the resulting ellipse encloses only the intended cells. The simulation results show that our proposed method successfully located the cell regions even if the false alarm rate is 10-2. These results indicate that we can lower the threshold.
